Nice little entry level ride

About Me

Comments:

I call this my "sidewalk" bike. I ride an aggressive road bike (also a Cannondale) and wanted something totally casual to ride in sneakers and shorts. I bought the Quick and it's been a great little bike for tooling around. It's pretty heavy, but I didn't want to spend a lot of money. I wouldn't take it on group ride, but a casual trail ride or jaunt around the neighborhood is just fine. I used it to rehab my knee after surgery before getting back on the road bike. It's nice and simple and I would def recommend it. It is NOT for off road. I tried the Apopka loop on it and it was a disaster. I had to turn back so now I'm shopping for a mountain bike. You can't go wrong with cannondale. I've owned 5 of them at all price points.

Comments:

I bought my 2016 Quick 4 second hand, at a great price. 'Lightly used' it said. Paint and condition were beautiful but gears were badly miss-adjusted. I decided to upgrade front and rear derailleurs and shifters to Deore, changed pedals to some nice Wellgo and changed tires to Kenda 700/32. I've made no other changes and now the shifting is spot-on and I can't wait to get out and do some serious miles. (I did also add a computer). I put myself down as an advanced rider because I've ridden about 10 centuries and I'm looking forward to riding one on this bike. I changed to this hybrid style from a Cannondale CAAD9/Ultegra. Much more comfortable since I'm in late 50's. All told, total cost less than retail!

I enjoy the Cannondale 700 M Quick 4 AGR. I just purchased it last Friday. I had a gift card that was given to me by my grandchildren for Father's Day. I just got rid of my Giant mountain bike with a kickstand. It was 15 years old. I enjoy riding the bike. I go maybe 15, 20 miles the most. It is very light. I bought the lime green. I have to get a cushion for the seat. I'm 71 years old. I hope to have this bike for another 15 years. It is a little slow. Everybody passes me who has a road bike, but for what I use it for, it's terrifi

    Comments:

The 2015 Cannondale Quick 4 is a 27-speed bike (typo in specs). This bike can be ridden either upright or more aggressive, depending on the height of the seat, etc. My seat is as high as the handlebars. I absolutely love the bike and how it handles. I ride on limestone trails, thus, changed the tires out to a Specialized Hemisphere 38-700c, which did slow the bike down somewhat, but not much. The only complaint I had, which was fixed, was that the seat squeaked. I applied anti-seize grease, and it has not made a squeak since! Purchased the bike 11 months ago, and have over 1,700 miles on it. No regrets---love riding the bike!

      About Me

      Comments:

I've owned the bike for eight months and ridden almost eighty hours on mostly paved road. It's a great bike, fast, solid, comfortable, shifts easily etc. I like it much better than my previous Trek hybrid. I am 65 years old and I ride mainly for exercise. Lost 50 lbs in 6 months. I am 6 ft and could have bought the size large but I went for the x large.

      Comments:

I bought this bike for exercise and fitness. I started to use it for commuting too. The shifters are butter smooth whether on flat surfaces or going up a hill. I use it for ten to fifteen mile rides and have been very happy with it. It is more for fitness and comfort and is not a speed burner. I am over 55 and not in the best of shape but still manage 12 mph on the bike over an hour course. The seat is very hard, an add on cushion worked fine to correct that. Cannondale has good add on options available for the bike.

I recently started cycling for a excercise. Not quite ready for a road bike, but this bike suits my level of expertise, is comfortable, and I can keep up with some of my more advanced friends. No hill in Langley can stop me. Also, the service at my LBS was great.

I bought the Quick 4 about 3 months ago as a new cyclist and love it! I'm 6 foot 4 so I purchased the Jumbo and it feels very comfortable. I ride 3 times a week now and looking forward to increasing that as time allows. I should be trying out for the Liquigas/Cannondale team in no time...okay maybe not, but I'm having a great time!

I purchased this bicycle at [...] (Great helpful staff)a month ago and have put well over 200 miles on it already. the bike handles great, is very nimble and fun to ride. as a side note it looks great and I cant count the number of comments I've received on this bike. Definately no regrets in purchasing this bicycle and I am looking forward too many great rides.
