Details

Long rides and short spins, pace lines and social cruises, Colnago's CLX Ultegra is more than ready. Its one-piece monocoque carbon design features oblique, oversized top and down tubes for awesome efficiency and sharp handling. The varying thicknesses of these tubes supplies that sweet ride Colnago is known for. A lightweight, stiff Colnago carbon fork carves through corners with precision while damping harsh road vibrations. And, a stellar frame should have great components, which is why the CLX comes spec'd with a smooth, reliable Shimano Ultegra drivetrain. So hop on and let the CLX be your companion as you carve your way through picturesque mountain ranges and roll through endless vineyards for miles to come.

    Comments:

For Colnago, this is a bargain. Seems hard to believe, but it is true. Incredibly well designed frame, every cm of every tube has been well thought out. Incredible attention to detail in actual construction. As with all Colnago's the paint job is gorgeous. Componentry that come with the bike is all top notch. Dura Ace or Chorus would have been nice, but Ultegra is A-OK. The ride quality is the key, though, and you wont find anything touching it for the price. One negative---for such a fine bike, they could have outfitted it with better wheels than Mavic Aksiums. Will upgrade.
